QUESTION: "In what ways can God speak to me? Because I always pray and ask God to speak to me and that I will hear His voice. But I don't hear anything."

ANSWER: "Many times when we say we don't hear God speaking, it's because we expect him to speak in an audible voice or spectacular vision, (this is body language) or sometimes you expect him to communicate with strong emotion or sensation (this is soul language) but he will often communicate by his spirit to your spirit, (spirit to spirit talk) Problem is most of us don't know how to hear him from our spirits. He will often communicate with your spirit man through 'impressions' which you will then verify through your knowledge of the word of God. So God will always speak to our spirits and not our souls and bodies, Things to note when seeking to be led by the spirit of God 1. The word of God is a more sure word of prophecy. This means that if you know and do God will as its revealed to you from the bible, you are being led by him! This is the most reliable form of leading I.e the word of God and the 'inward witness' (inward witness is the spirit of God confirming or witnessing to your spiritman a 'yes' or a 'no' impression) 2. God may choose to communicate to you in other ways like visions, dreams, angelic manifestations, trances, audible voice e.t.c none of these (even though they are more spectacular or sensational) are as authentic as the word of God you know and the witness of the Holy Spirit within you. So in all probability God is already talking to you through his word and your conscience"
