QUESTION: "I wanted to ask you a quick question about talking about hell and how comes some churches talk about it but others don't?"

Pastor's response...

ANSWER: "ANSWER: I wouldn’t know why some churches choose not to talk about hell, however, we owe a duty to humanity to tell them the whole truth as Christ delivered it unto us, we also owe it to present it in a way that is balanced and points people to Christ. Shying away from telling the truth to people because you do not want to offend them is actually deceiving them, also talking about hell in such a way that people do not see how the finished works of Christ has provided them life may end up filling their hearts with fear instead of faith. We should present a balanced gospel, that tells of a reality of heaven and hell that also tells the believer all that has been freely given to him in Christ Jesus. So we not only tell them about the punishment for sin, we also tell them about the free gift John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. "
