QUESTION: "There are however examples of our fathers of faith who reach a ripe old age e.g. 80 years and above but who eventually leave this earth due to some form of sickness some of them who may have healed various sick people and themselves been healed at various times in their life, Must we leave this world in sickness? If not what is the ideal way a christian should die to continue eternity."

ANSWER: "1 - It is Gods desire that we be in Good Health. (1John 3:2) 2 - Our full health has already been fully purchased! (1 Peter 2:24) 3 - We access every purchased promise of God in the spirit in Christ by grace through Faith! (Hebrews 10:38) Now to your Question... A mans experience does not invalidate Gods word, it is the absolute truth that we are attaining unto. So in spite of believers who have died through sickness - Gods word remains true- by his stripes we WERE healed! However on the topic of death, whilst it seems "unacceptable" that Christians should die from sickness. Most people who die in this world die because their organs shut down, or their body systems fail. (Sickness of sorts frown emoticon ) Man was not created originally to be mortal (subject to death and decay) but the process of death has been coded into our systems by sin, this is why the scripture says that "it is appointed to man once to die, and after then judgment" So all of us will die one day, and there will be a cause of death (shutting down our mortal body) usually a form of sickness... So many times, it matters not so much HOW a saint exits as much as it matters WHEN and WHY the saint exits, If a saint exits before his time, without fulfilling his assignment, it is indeed tragic, no matter the cause of death. However as saints we should 1. Build our faith to live a sickness free life 2. We should observe common sense and health rules 3. Use the services provided by The Lord within his church e.g prayers of faith! (James 5:13-15) Hope this answers your questions?. Thank you and God bless! "
