QUESTION: "A lot of believers know a lot of scriptures. Can you say that ones knowledge of scriptures can be seen as being intimate with Gods word?"

ANSWER: "The knowledge of Scripture is different from the knowledge of the Word. However, the knowledge of scripture can aid your interaction with the word of God. Gods word is spirit, it is the Essence of his person and nature. Revealed as his thoughts, expressed through Jesus Christ his son to his Creation. This can be encapsulated in sound (prophecy/ inspired utterance) and recorded in text (scripture) but must be activated through faith and by the spirit until it has infused your very nature and you become one with it as a man becomes one with his wife. Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:worship God:FOR THE TESTIMONY OF CHRIST IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto you, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and they are LIFE. 2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit:for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. So you can be intimate with scriptures without being intimate with the word, but cannot be intimate with the word without being intimate with scripture, I hope this answers your question "
