QUESTION: "What is your view on eternal life?"

Pastor's response...

ANSWER: "Eternal life is not just length of days, but eternal relevance? Jesus died at 33 yet his life is still impacting us till today, all the apostles except John died 'tragic' deaths and went through untold hardship, yet their lives still affects us to day! The woman with the alabaster box only broke a jar of perfume and washed Jesus' feet, we are still inspired by her story today( we don't even know how old she was and how she died) Long life isn't just length of days, it is a life that pleases God, and that has an impact in time and eternity... It is eternal life! I.e the effects of your life live on way beyond your death and still gets spoken of in eternity How well are we living? Is a better question than how did we die? Jesus was hung on a cross like a criminal, Thomas was skinned alive, paul was beheaded, Stephen was stoned, Peter was crucified upside down... The list goes on... They had eternal life, their lives were indestructible, even though their bodies were However, I trust The Lord that we shall not die but live to declare the glory of God.... This is the ONLY thing to live for, his kingdom and his glory ! Live for him "
