QUESTION: "Matthew 12: 31-32, talks about how "anyone that speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven now or in the future". Can you please explain this scripture. Does this mean that this sin can never be forgiven even if one becomes saved?"

ANSWER: "The reason why it is dangerous to sin against the holy spirit is because he is the sole communicator and revealer of God the father and God the son. when we sin against him in a way that our communication channels are cut off we are then unable to access God at all.... it is like cutting off your own windpipe by yourself. by the time you commit the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit to the level that he leaves it would be impossible to even be saved again at that point, because you cannot be saved without his help, but to get to this point you will have been matured enough to know exactly what you are doing when you turn your back on him Hebrews 6:4-8 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Genesis 6:3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."
